Darly Paris respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your personal information when you visit darlyparis.com, make a purchase, or contact us. It applies to customers in the European Union, the United Kingdom, the United States, and all other countries where we sell.

2. Information we collect

  • Identity and contact details: name, email address, phone number, billing and shipping addresses.
  • Order information: products purchased, order history, returns, and communications with our customer service.
  • Payment information: processed directly by our payment providers (Shopify Payments, PayPal, etc.). We never store your full card number.
  • Account information: login details and preferences, if you create an account.
  • Device and usage information: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages viewed, and interactions with the Site, collected through cookies and similar technologies.
  • Marketing preferences: your newsletter and SMS subscription choices.

3. Why we use your information and legal bases

  • To process and deliver your orders, handle returns, and provide customer service (performance of a contract).
  • To comply with our accounting, tax, and legal obligations (legal obligation).
  • To prevent fraud and secure the Site (legitimate interest).
  • To improve the Site and understand how it is used (consent, for non-essential cookies).
  • To send you marketing emails or SMS (your consent, or our legitimate interest for similar products you have already bought, where permitted). You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in each message.
  • To show you personalised advertising on social networks and other websites (consent).

4. Who we share it with

We never sell your personal information for money. We only share it with service providers who help us run our business, under contracts that require them to protect it:

  • Shopify (e-commerce platform and hosting);
  • payment providers;
  • carriers and logistics partners, to deliver your orders;
  • email and SMS marketing tools (such as Klaviyo);
  • advertising and analytics partners (such as Meta and Google), only if you have consented to the related cookies;
  • public authorities, where required by law.

5. International transfers

Some of our providers are located outside the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, in particular in Canada and the United States. These transfers are protected by an adequacy decision (such as the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework) or by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and their UK equivalent.

6. How long we keep it

  • Customer data: for the duration of our relationship, then 3 years from your last purchase or contact for marketing purposes.
  • Invoices and accounting records: 10 years, as required by French law.
  • Cookies: up to 13 months; your cookie choices are kept for 6 months.

7. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies to run the Site (cart, checkout, security). Analytics and advertising cookies are only placed with your consent, which you can give, refuse, or withdraw at any time through the cookie banner or the "Your Privacy Choices" link at the bottom of the Site.

8. Your rights (EU and UK)

Under the GDPR and the UK GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, and erase your data, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, to withdraw your consent at any time, and, in France, to give instructions regarding your data after your death. To exercise these rights, email contact@darlyparis.com. We will respond within one month.

You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority: the CNIL in France (www.cnil.fr), the ICO in the United Kingdom (ico.org.uk), or the authority of your country of residence.

9. Your rights (United States)

Depending on your state of residence (including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, and other states with consumer privacy laws), you may have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, to access and delete it, to correct it, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information for targeted advertising. We do not sell personal information for money, but the use of advertising cookies may be considered "sharing" under certain state laws. You can opt out at any time through the "Your Privacy Choices" link on the Site; we also honour Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signals.

To exercise your rights, email contact@darlyparis.com. We will verify your request and will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. You may designate an authorised agent to make a request on your behalf.

10. Children

The Site is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

11. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is completely secure.

12. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
